Campaign to prevent the industrialisation of King's Cross

Join us & help preserve this unique corner of Arran

In 2022, Forestry and Land Scotland (an agency of the Scottish Government), bought Whitefield Farm at King’s Cross aiming to transform it into a timber stackyard and seaborne export station. This development is unwanted and unnecessary for log exports to continue from Arran. If this project goes ahead, it will cost tens of millions of pounds of public money, and will result in profound environmental damage to King’s Cross, Lamlash Bay and Holy Isle.

Industrialisation will destroy the beauty and tranquillity of this area.......
