ABOUT US

Welcome.

Friends of King's Cross is a group of Arran residents that have come together to celebrate, protect and nurture the area of Arran known as King's Cross. This quiet hamlet on the east side of the island lies between the villages of Lamlash and Whiting Bay, with outstanding views of Holy Isle and across the bay to Lamlash  and the hills to the north of Arran.

This area is home to a number of residents and is visited daily by folks who come to enjoy the lovely walks along the coastline and through woodland, and to bask in the peace and tranquillity. There is abundant wildlife, both on land and sea that make King's Cross a very special place.

See our FLS tab for more details about why this beautiful place is under threat.

We care deeply about the unique beauty of Arran's landscapes and wish to preserve these special places for all to enjoy. Please join us and show your support.
